Cat.No.: | PE-3051 |
Product Name: | SUV39H2 (His) Methyltransferase |
Description: | Along with its close homolog, SUV39H1, SUV39H2 is responsible for the transcriptionally repressive modification, H3K9me3, in heterochromatin. Mice deleted in both SUV39H2 and SUV39H1 have elongated telomeres, implying a role for these enzymes and H3K9 methylation in regulation of telomere length. Polymorphisms in the human SUV39H2 gene have been associated with complications of type I diabetes and lung cancer risk. |
Storage: | Store at 4℃ if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store at -20℃ or -80℃ for longer periods of time. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. |
