Cat.No.:  PE-0039
Product Name:  Recombinant Human HDAC3, FLAG-tagged
Product Overview:  Recombinant HumanHDAC3 is expressed in Baculovirus with a FLAG tag at N-terminus.
Description:  The nucleosomal histones can be modified through reversible acetylation by histone acetyltransferases (HATs) and deacetylases (HDACs). Acetylation and deacetylation of histone proteins alters chromosome structure and affects transcription factor access to DNA. HDAC3 has an open reading frame of 428 amino acids. HDAC3 shares 53% amino acid identity with HDAC1 and 52% with HDAC2.
Applications:  Recombinant HDAC3 can be used 1) for in vitro function studies including transcription in the presence of co-factors such as N-CoR; 2) for protein-protein interaction assay; and 3) for cell growth assay.
Storage:  Store at 4℃ if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store at -20℃ or -80℃ for longer periods of time. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
