Creative BioMart perfectly combines the methylation DNA immunoprecipitation (MeDIP) technology with real-time quantitative PCR technology to interrogate the exact value of the methylation level of specific regions over a wide range. First, methylated DNA fragments are enriched by specific antibodies, and then detected by real-time quantitative PCR. And the finally quantitative analysis is carried out using Ct value. Since real-time PCR can be performed in 96-well or 384-well format with minimal reaction volume and primers can be synthesized at minimal cost, MeDIP-qPCR is an attractive strategy.
