The development of epigenetic protein-associated inhibitors is of growing interest for new therapies for diseases such as cancer. Inhibitors have been developed for a number of domain families involved in histone binding and modification. However, there are still many domain families, especially the reader domains, for which few effective inhibitors have been discovered. As many proteins in epigenetic regulation have tandem reader domains, targeting cavities formed at domain-domain interfaces provides an alternative to develop inhibitors rather than just targeting individual reader domains.
With the expertise and years of experience in structure-based drug discovery, Creative BioMart currently offers the small molecule inhibitors screening service of multiple domains to accelerate the development of epigenetic drugs.
