RRH
-
Official Full Name
retinal pigment epithelium-derived rhodopsin homolog
-
Overview
Opsins are members of the guanine nucleotide-binding protein (G protein)-coupled receptor superfamily. This gene belongs to the seven-exon subfamily of mammalian opsin genes that includes opsin 5 and retinal G protein coupled receptor. -

RRH has several biochemical functions, for example, G-protein coupled receptor activity, photoreceptor activity, signal transducer activity. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by RRH itself. We selected most functions RRH had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with RRH. You can find most of the proteins on our site.

RRH has direct interactions with proteins and molecules. Those interactions were detected by several methods such as yeast two hybrid, co-IP, pull-down and so on. We selected proteins and molecules interacted with RRH here. Most of them are supplied by our site. Hope this information will be useful for your research of RRH.
