Active Recombinant Human RET(V804M)(658-end) Mutation Protein, N-GST-tagged

Cat.No. : RET-212H
Product Overview : N-Terminal GST-tagged, recombinant, human Ret amino acids 658–end containing the V804M mutation. Expressed by baculovirus in Sf21 insect cells. Purified using glutathione agarose. The V804M mutation has been identified in patients with familial medullary thyroid carcinoma (FMTC).

Description : The RET (rearranged during transfection) receptor tyrosine kinase is a classic example of phenotype heterogeneity. Gain-of-function mutations of RET are associated with human cancer and multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2 (MEN 2A, MEN 2B, etc.) Loss-of-function mutations of RET cause Hirschspung disease or colonic aganglionosis).
