• Description: Recombinant HIV-1 Clade E gag p24 is a cytosolic protein produced in the Baculovirus Expression System. Full length 55kD gag is cleaved endogenously to produce a 24kD gag protein with authetic N and C termini. This protein shows 92.6% homology with HIV-1 IIIB p24 gag protein. This protein binds to murine monoclonal antibodies of defined epitope specificity and to rabbit and human serum polyclonal antibodies in ELISA and Western ELISA.
