Recombinant Mouse Kitl (26-189aa)

Cat. No.: Kitl-042E
Product Overview: Recombinant Mouse Kitl (Lys26 Ala189, with an Nterminal Met) was expressed in E. coli and produced using nonanimal reagent in an animalfree laboratory.
Description: Stem cell factor (SCF), also known as ckit ligand (KL), mast cell growth factor (MGF), and steel factor (SLF), is a widely expressed 28 40 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein. It promotes the survival, differentiation, and mobilization of multiple cell types including myeloid, erythroid, megakaryocytic, lymphoid, germ cell, and melanocyte progenitors. SCF is a primary growth and activation factor for mast cells and eosinophils. SCF assists in the recovery of cardiac function following myocardial infarction by increasing the number of cardiomyocytes and vascular channels.
Source: E. coli
Nterminal Sequence Analysi: Met
Molecular Mass: 18.6 kDa
Activity: Measured in a cell proliferation assay using TF1 human erythroleukemic cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 2.5 10 ng/mL.
Endotoxin Leve: <1.0 EU per 1 μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Purity: >97%, by SDSPAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in Acetonitrile and TFA. See Certificate of Analysis for details.
Reconstitution: Reconstitute at 200 μg/mL in PBS.
Shipping: The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freezethaw cycles. 1. 12 months from date of receipt, 20 to 70 °C as supplied. 2. 1 month, 2 to 8 °C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3. 3 months, 20 to 70 °C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
