Flt4 Activity Assay Kit
Cat.No. : | Kit-1594 |
Product Overview : | RTK Activity cell lines are engineered to a fusion of the intracellular catalytic domain from the target RTK and the extracellular ligand binding domain of EGFR. This fusion protein is tagged with ProLink (PK). The cells co-an Enzyme Acceptor (EA) tagged SH2 domain. Ligand induced cross-phosphorylation of the PK-tagged fusion protein leads to SH2-EA recruitment, forcing complementation of the two β-galactosidase enzyme fragments (EA and PK). The resulting functional enzyme hydrolyzes substrate to generate a chemiluminescent signal. These cells have been modified to prevent long term propagation and expansion using a proprietary compound that has no apparent effect on assay performance. |

Q&As (6)
Ask a questionFLT4 protein is associated with various tumor-related markers such as malignant lymphoma, breast cancer, and lung cancer.
FLT4 protein is a key regulator of lymphedema and plays an important role in lymphangiogenesis and lymphatic drainage.
Yes, mutations in the FLT4 protein can lead to congenital lymphedema, a condition caused by abnormal lymphatic vessel development.
The protein is considered an important target in anticancer therapy, and inhibition of its activity may reduce tumor angiogenesis and metastasis.
FLT4 protein plays an important role in pulmonary hypertension, and upregulation of its activity may lead to pathological changes such as vascular remodeling and pulmonary artery stenosis.
This is involved in the regulation of angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis by binding to vascular endothelial growth factor C (VEGF-C) and vascular endothelial growth factor D (VEGF-D).
Customer Reviews (3)
Write a reviewThe catalytic activity of FLT4 is very strong, which can significantly improve the selectivity and yield of chemical reactions, and its application potential is great.
We were reassured that the quality of FLT4 was consistent.
Using FLT4 for experiments, I can focus more on experimental design and data analysis without worrying about the reproducibility of experimental results.
