GPR18

Official Full Name G protein-coupled receptor 18
Background N-arachidonyl glycine receptor also known as G-protein coupled receptor 18 (GPR18) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GPR18 gene.Along with the other previously "orphan" receptors GPR55 and GPR119, GPR18 has been found to be a receptor for endogenous lipid neurotransmitters, several of which also bind to cannabinoid receptors.

GPR18 has several biochemical functions, for example, G-protein coupled receptor activity. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by GPR18 itself. We selected most functions GPR18 had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with GPR18. You can find most of the proteins on our site.

GPR18 has direct interactions with proteins and molecules. Those interactions were detected by several methods such as yeast two hybrid, co-IP, pull-down and so on. We selected proteins and molecules interacted with GPR18 here. Most of them are supplied by our site. Hope this information will be useful for your research of GPR18.
