|Official Full Name||C1D nuclear receptor corepressor|
|Background||The protein encoded by this gene is a DNA binding and apoptosis-inducing protein and is localized in the nucleus. It is also a Rac3-interacting protein which acts as a corepressor for the thyroid hormone receptor. This protein is thought to regulate TRAX/Translin complex formation. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants that encode the same protein. Multiple pseudogenes of this gene are found on chromosome 10.|

C1D has several biochemical functions, for example, DNA binding, RNA binding, ligand-dependent nuclear receptor binding. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by C1D itself. We selected most functions C1D had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with C1D. You can find most of the proteins on our site.

C1D has direct interactions with proteins and molecules. Those interactions were detected by several methods such as yeast two hybrid, co-IP, pull-down and so on. We selected proteins and molecules interacted with C1D here. Most of them are supplied by our site. Hope this information will be useful for your research of C1D.
