• Official Full Name
  • microseminoprotein, prostate associated
  • Background
  • This gene encodes a member of the beta-microseminoprotein family. Members of this protein family contain ten conserved cysteine residues that form intra-molecular disulfide bonds. The encoded protein may play a role in prostate cancer tumorigenesis.

Protein Function

MSMP has several biochemical functions, for example, molecular_function. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by MSMP itself. We selected most functions MSMP had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with MSMP. You can find most of the proteins on our site.
