|Official Full Name||RAN binding protein 17|
|Background||The transport of protein and large RNAs through the nuclear pore complexes (NPC) is an energy-dependent and regulated process. The import of proteins with a nuclear localization signal (NLS) is accomplished by recognition of one or more clusters of basic amino acids by the importin-alpha/beta complex; see MIM 600685 and MIM 602738. The small GTPase RAN (MIM 601179) plays a key role in NLS-dependent protein import. RAN-binding protein-17 is a member of the importin-beta superfamily of nuclear transport receptors.|

Sorry that we did not find a match to your query.Please refine your search using the following instructions:
1. In the search box, enter only accession number such as NM_001200, or gene symbol, such as BMP2, or protein name, like Bone morphogenetic protein 2 precursor.
2. Do not include product type descriptions, such as clone, antibody, or shRNA, etc.
3. Do not include species in search.
4. When one key word does not return any result, try the following options:
A. Try another name: e.g., CD3E for T3E
B. Try both full and abbreviated gene names, e.g., relaxin 3 vs. RLN3
C. Remove space or dash (-) in your search terms, like IL2 for IL-2.
