|Official Full Name||SH3 domain and tetratricopeptide repeats 2|
|Background||This gene encodes a protein with two N-terminal Src homology 3 (SH3) domains and 10 tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR) motifs, and is a member of a small gene family. The gene product has been proposed to be an adapter or docking molecule. Mutations in this gene result in autosomal recessive Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 4C, a childhood-onset neurodegenerative disease characterized by demyelination of motor and sensory neurons.|
|Synonyms||SH3TC2; SH3 domain and tetratricopeptide repeats 2; SH3 domain and tetratricopeptide repeat-containing protein 2; CMT4C; KIAA1985; SH3 domain and tetratricopeptide repeats-containing protein 2; MNMN; FLJ13605|
|Sorry that we did not find a match to your query.Please refine your search using the following instructions:|
|1. In the search box, enter only accession number such as NM_001200, or gene symbol, such as BMP2, or protein name, like Bone morphogenetic protein 2 precursor.|
|2. Do not include product type descriptions, such as clone, antibody, or shRNA, etc.|
|3. Do not include species in search.|
|4. When one key word does not return any result, try the following options:|
|A. Try another name: e.g., CD3E for T3E|
|B. Try both full and abbreviated gene names, e.g., relaxin 3 vs. RLN3|
|C. Remove space or dash (-) in your search terms, like IL2 for IL-2.|
