Antigen Description : Acrosomal protein SP-10, also known as Acrosomal vesicle protein 1 and ACRV1, is a testis-specific, differentiation antigen, that arises within the acrosomal vesicle during spermatogenesis, and is associated with the acrosomal membranes and matrix of mature sperm. Regulation of cell type-specific gene transcription is central to cellular differentiation and development. During spermatogenesis, a number of testis-specific genes are expressed in a precise spatiotemporal order. The longest transcript of ACRV1 / SP-10 is the most abundant, comprising 53-72% of the total acrosomal vesicle protein 1 messages; the second largest transcript comprises 15-32%; the third and the fourth largest transcripts account for 3.4-8.3% and 8.7-12.5%, respectively; and the remaining transcripts combined account for< 1% of the total acrosomal vesicle protein 1 message. acrv1 sp-10 is a testis-specific acrosomal protein that has been detected in several species including humans. it may be involved in sperm-zona binding or penetration, and it is a potential contraceptive vaccine immunogen for humans. acrv1 sp-10 may be involved in sperm-zona binding or penetration. it is also a intra-acrosomal protein that is considered to be a vaccine candidate for>
Specificity : Human ACRV1. No cross-reactivity with human cell lysate ( 293 cell line ) in ELISA.
Immunogen : Recombinant Human ACRV1 Protein
Host : Mouse
Isotype : Mouse IgG1
Species : Human
Clone : 4E3G11
Purification : Protein A affinity chromatography
Applications : Western Blot; ELISA
Dilution : Western blot: This antibody can be used at 1 - 2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Human ACRV1 in WB. Using a DAB detection system, the detection limit for Human ACRV1 is approximately 20 ng/lane under non-reducing conditions and reducing conditions.Direct ELISA: This antibody can be used at 0.5 - 1 μg with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Human ACRV1. The detection limit for Human ACRV1 is approximately 0.0195 ng/well.
Preparation : This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, human cell-derived, recombinant Human ACRV1. The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Format : 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS with 5% trehalose
Storage : This antibody can be stored at 2-8 °C for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20 °C to -70 °C. Preservative-Free.Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
