|Background||Cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases (PDEs) play a role in signal transduction by regulating intracellular cyclic;nucleotide concentrations through hydrolysis of cAMP and/or cGMP to their respective nucleoside 5-prime;monophosphates.
