Source : HEK293
Species : Human
Tag : Fc
Form : Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS, pH7.4. Normally trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Bio-activity : Immobilized Human M-CSF, His Tag at 5 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Human M-CSF R Protein, Fc Tag with a linear range of 0.1-4 ng/mL. Immobilized Human M-CSF R Protein, Fc Tag at 5 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Biotinylated Human IL-34, His,Avitag with a linear range of 0.2-10 ng/mL.
Molecular Mass : This protein carries a human IgG1 Fc tag at the C-terminus.The protein has a calculated MW of 80.6 kDa. The protein migrates as 100-150 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
Proteinlength : Ile20-Glu512
Endotoxin : Less than 0.1 EU per μg by the LAL method.
Purity : >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Storage : Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution : It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents.

        Q&As (5)

        Ask a question
Are there any FDA-approved drugs targeting CSF1R for clinical use? 07/20/2021

Yes, drugs like pexidartinib have been approved for the treatment of certain rare tumors called tenosynovial giant cell tumors (TGCT) that overexpress CSF1R.

How can CSF1R inhibitors impact the tumor microenvironment? 10/22/2018

CSF1R inhibitors can modulate the tumor microenvironment by reducing the number of tumor-associated macrophages and promoting an anti-tumor immune response.

Can CSF1R inhibitors be used in combination with other cancer treatments? 09/20/2018

Yes, CSF1R inhibitors are often used in combination with chemotherapy and immunotherapy to enhance treatment effectiveness.

What are the potential clinical applications of CSF1R inhibitors? 01/21/2017

CSF1R inhibitors are being investigated for cancer therapy to block tumor-promoting macrophages and slow down cancer progression.

Can CSF1R inhibitors be used to treat neurodegenerative diseases? 12/04/2016

Research is ongoing, and CSF1R inhibitors are being explored as a potential therapy for neurodegenerative diseases, but no FDA-approved treatments currently exist.
