Recombinant Human Sulfotransferase Family, Cytosolic, 1B, Member 1, His-tagged

Cat. No.: SULT1B1-2399H
Product Overview: Recombinant humanSULT1B1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli andpurified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
Description: Sulfotransferasefamily, cytosolic, 1B, member 1, also known as SULT1B1, is an enzyme that inhumans is encoded by the SULT1B1 gene. SULT1B1 contains a binding site forthe sulfate donor, 3-prime-phosphoadenosine 5-prime-phosphosulfate, and acysteine residue conserved in the ST1 gene family of sulfotransferases.Sulfotransferases such as SULT1B1 catalyze the biotransformation of a largenumber of endogenous compounds such as neurotransmitters, steroids, bileacids, and thyroid hormones, as well as drugs and xenobiotics.
