Recombinant Human CSF2 (18 - 144aa)

Cat. No.: CSF2-025E
Product Overview: Recombinant Human CSF2 (Ala18 Glu144) was expressed in E. coli and produced using nonanimal reagent in an animalfree laboratory.
Description: GMCSF was initially characterized as a factor that granulocytemacrophage progenitors. It is also a growth factor for erythroid, megakaryocyte, and eosinophil progenitors. GMCSF is produced by a number of different cell types (including T cells, B cells, macrophages, mast cells, endothelial cells, fibroblasts, and adipocytes) in response to cytokine or inflammatory stimuli. On mature hematopoietic cells, GMCSF is a survival factor for and activates the effector functions of granulocytes, monocytes/macrophages, and eosinophils.
Source: E. coli
Nterminal Sequence Analysis: Ala18
Molecular Mass: 14 kDa
Activity: Measured in a cell proliferation assay using TF1 human erythroleukemic cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 6 30 pg/mL.
Endotoxin Leve: <1.0 EU per 1 μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Purity: >97%, by SDSPAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS. See Certificate of Analysis for details.
Reconstitution: Reconstitute at 100 μg/mL in sterile PBS.
Shipping: The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freezethaw cycles. 1. 12 months from date of receipt, 20 to 70 °C as supplied. 2. 1 month, 2 to 8 °C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3. 3 months, 20 to 70 °C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
