Description : |
C19orf10 is aprotein that in humans is encoded by the C19orf10 gene. C19orf10 is acytokine that shares the sequence similarity with IL17. This cytokine caninduce NF-κB activation, and stimulate the production of IL8. Both thiscytokine and IL17B are ligands for the cytokine receptor IL17RB. Studies ofthe similar gene in mice suggested that this cytokine may be aproinflammatory cytokine favoring Th2-type immune response. Two alternativelyspliced transcript variants of this gene encoding distinct isoforms have beenreported. |
Form : |
Lyophilized from a0.2 µm sterile filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.2. |
Molecular Weight : |
Projected MW = 18.1kDa. The recombinant protein migrates with an apparent MW = 24 kDa inSDS-PAGE. |
Purity : |
>98% by SDS-PAGE.Purified product carries no pyrogenic or pro-inflammatory contaminants, asassayed with monocyte activation test using custom human Multiplex CytokineAssay measuring IL-6, TNF-alpha and IL-1beta induction. |
Endotoxin Level : |
< 0.005 ng perµg of product (0.05 EU/µg) as measured by turbidimetric kinetic assay. |
Reconstitution : |
Centrifuge vialprior to opening. First add sterile distilled water to the vial to fully solubilizethe protein to a concentration not less than 100 µg/ml. After complete solubilizationof the protein, it can be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. |
Storage : |
The lyophilizedprotein, though stable at room temperature for two weeks, is best stored at-20°C. Reconstituted protein should be used immediately or stored in workingaliquots at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
