• Description: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disorder marked by joint inflammation and systemic complications, most commonly affecting women and increasing with age. Rheumatoid Factor (RF), a group of autoantibodies targeting the Fc region of IgG, is a key biomarker in RA diagnosis and prognosis. While traditionally sourced from human sera, RF production faces challenges with consistency, supply, and biosafety. Recombinant RF provides a scalable, standardized, and pathogen-free alternative for assay development and quality control in autoimmune diagnostics. • Note: We recommend testing recovery/reactivity of this product in individual assays. Once thawed, if the product is excessively hazy or precipitated, incubate at 39 centigrade under gentle mixing until precipitates solubilize. Precipitates do not interfere with RF recovery.
• Stability: Accelerated stability at 37 centigrade, 22 centigrade and 4 centigrade showed no loss in RF recovery after 6 weeks.
