Cat. No. : | MATK-5451H |
Product Overview : | Recombinant humanfull length MATK, His-tagged. No special measures were taken to activate thiskinase. |
Description : | MATK encoded bythis gene has amino acid sequence similarity to Csk tyrosine kinase and hasthe structural features of the CSK subfamily: SRC homology SH2 and SH3domains, a catalytic domain, a unique N terminus, lack of myristylationsignals, lack of a negative regulatory phosphorylation site, and lack of anautophosphorylation site. This protein is thought to play a significant rolein the signal transduction of hematopoietic cells. It is able tophosphorylate and inactivate Src family kinases, and may play an inhibitoryrole in the control of T-cell proliferation. This protein might be involvedin signaling in some cases of breast cancer. Three alternatively splicedtranscript variants that encode different isoforms have been described forthis gene. |
