Description : MATK belongs to tyrosine protein kinase family, CSK subfamily. It inactivates Src family kinase activity by specifically phosphorylating their C-terminal regulatory tyrosine residue and may plays a significant role in the signal transduction of hematopoietic cells. MATK binds to the phosphorylated Tyr568/570 sites on c-KIT to which FYN binds and leads to the down-regulation of FYN. MATK has been shown to be involved in signaling in some cases of breast cancer.
Source : Insect cells
Species : Human
Tag : GST
Molecular Mass : ~83 kDa
Applications : KA, WB
Storage : Store product at –70 centigrade. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Storage Buffer : 50mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 150mM NaCl, 10mM glutathione, 0.1mM EDTA, 0.25mM DTT, 0.1mM PMSF, 25% glycerol.
