Gdf5-720M |
Product Overview : |
Recombinant Mouse Gdf5protein was expressed in E. coli with and without an N-terminal Met. Ala376-Arg495. |
Description : |
Gdf5, also known ascartilage-derived morphogenetic protein 1, is a member of the bonemorphogenetic protein (BMP) family which belongs to the transforming growthfactor β (TGFβ) superfamily. Gdf5 is synthesized as a large precursor proteinthat consists of an N-terminal 19 amino acid (aa) signal sequence, a 362 aapro region and a 120 aa C-terminal mature peptide. Mature Gdf5 isahomodimeric protein which contains the characteristic seven conservedcysteine residues. |
