Recombinant Mouse Chemokine (C-C motif) Ligand 24

Cat. No.: Ccl24-475M
Product Overview: Recombinant MouseCcl24 protein was expressed in E. coli. Ile24-Val119.
Description: Ccl24, also namedmyeloid progenitor inhibitory factor (MPIF2), is a member of the CC chemokinesubfamily and is designated Ccl24. Ccl24 is constitutively expressed in thejejunum and spleen. It can also be induced in the lung by allergen challengeand IL4. LPS and IL4 also differentially regulate the expression of Ccl24 inmonocytes and macrophages. Mouse Ccl24 cDNA encodes a 119 amino acid (aa)residue precursor protein that shares approximately 58% aa sequence identitywith human Ccl24.
Source: E. coli
Form: Lyophilized from a0.2 μm filtered solution in Acetonitrile and TFA with BSA as a carrierprotein.
N-terminalSequence: Ile24
MolecularWeight: 10.6 kDa
Activity: Measured by itsability to chemoattract mouse CCR3 transfected BaF3 mouse proB cells. TheED50 for this effect is typically 150 600 ng/mL. In the same assay, the ED50of the aa 27 119 mouse Ccl24 variant is typically 1 5 ng/mL. The aa 24 119 mouseCcl24 variant is about 150fold less active than the aa 27 119 mouse Ccl24 variant.
Endotoxin Level: <1.0 EU per 1 μgof the protein by the LAL method.
Purity: >95%, by SDSPAGE underreducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Reconstitution: Reconstitute at 25μg/mL in sterile PBS containing at least 0.1% human or bovine serum albumin.
Storage: Use a manual defrostfreezer and avoid repeated freezethaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt,-20 to -70°C as supplied. 1 month, 2 to 8 °C under sterile conditions afterreconstitution. 3 months, -20 to -70°C under sterile conditions afterreconstitution.
