Recombinant Murine Interleukin 12b

Cat. No. : Il12b-178M
Product Overview : Recombinant Murine Interleukin 12b produced inCHOwas a 40.0kDa protein containing 313 amino acid residues.
Description : Interleukin-12 is a disulfide-linked heterodimeric protein (p70), composed of two subunits, p35 and p40, which are encoded by two different genes. Accumulating data indicate that p40 secretion precedes that of IL-12 expression. In addition, to its ability to covalently bind to p35 to form IL-12, p40 can bind to p19 to form IL-23. Additionally, p40 can associate itself through disulfide linkage to form a dimer that acts as a potent IL12 antagonist.
Source : E.coli.
Purity : >95% (SDS-PAGE; HPLC).
Endotoxin Level : <0.1ng per μg of IL-12p40.
Stabilizer : None.
Formulation : Lyophilized.
Biologically Activity : Test in progress.
Reconstitution : The murine IL-12p40 should be reconstituted in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0mg/ml. This solution can be diluted in water or other buffer solutions or stored at -20°C.
Stability : The lyophilized protein is stable for a few weeks at room temperature, but best stored at -20°C. Reconstituted murine IL12p40 should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
