Recombinant Human NTRK3, His-tagged

Cat.No.: NTRK3-31622TH
Product Overview: Recombinant fragment, corresponding to amino acids 507-839 of Human TrkC with N terminal His tag, expressed in a Baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system, 38kDa.
Description: This gene encodes a member of the neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase (NTRK) family. This kinase is a membrane-bound receptor that, upon neurotrophin binding, phosphorylates itself and members of the MAPK pathway. Signalling through this kinase leads to cell differentiation and may play a role in the development of proprioceptive neurons that sense body position. Mutations in this gene have been associated with medulloblastomas, secretory breast carcinomas and other cancers. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Conjugation: HIS
Tissue specificity: Widely expressed but mainly in nervous tissue. Isoform B is expressed at higher levels in adult brain than in fetal brain.
Biological activity: The Specific activity of NTRK3-31622TH was determined to be 24 nmol/min/mg.
Form: Liquid
Storage buffer: Preservative: 150mM ImidazoleConstituents: 25% Glycerol, 50mM Sodium phosphate, 300mM Sodium chloride, 2mM DTT, 0.1mM PMSF, pH 7.0
