Cat.No. : | CCL7-291H Optional Service: Optional requirements on this protein |
Product Overview : | Purified, full-length human recombinant CCL7 (MCP3) protein (amino acids 24-99, 76 a.a.) with StrepII tag, produced in human cells. Predicted molecular weight: 9.0 kDa. (Accession NP_006264; UniProt P80098) |
Description : | CCL7 is a secreted chemokine which attracts macrophages during inflammation and metastasis. It is a member of the CC subfamily of chemokines which are characterized by having two adjacent cysteine residues. The protein is an in vivo substrate of matrix metalloproteinase 2, an enzyme which degrades components of the extracellular matrix. It augments monocyte anti-tumor activity and induces the release of gelatinase B. This protein can bind heparin, CCR1, CCR2, and CCR3. |
