FAP-426H
Optional Service: Optional requirements on this protein
Product Overview :
Recombinant human FAP (amino acids 29-end) with C-terminal His tag, MW=85.5 kDa, expressed in aBaculovirus infected Sf9cell expression system.
Description :
Fibroblast activation protein, alpha, also known as FAP, is a human gene and encodes for a protease. The protein encoded by this gene is a homodimeric integral membrane gelatinase belonging to the serine protease family. It is selectively expressed in reactive stromal fibroblasts of epithelial cancers, granulation tissue of healing wounds, and malignant cells of bone and soft tissue sarcomas. This protein is thought to be involved in the control of fibroblast growth or epithelial-mesenchymal interactions during development, tissue repair, and epithelial carcinogenesis.
Source :
Baculovirus infected Sf9 cells.
Application :
Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
Fomulated In :
25 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 100 mM NaCl, 0.05% Tween-20, 50% glycerol, and 3 mM DTT.
