Description : |
NRAS proteins aremembers of the superfamily of small GTPbinding proteins that function asmolecular switches controlling a variety of signalling and transportpathways. NRAS is one of the classic humanRas proteins (H-, N-, K-Ras4A, and K-Ras4B). NRASdeltaC comprises the first 167 residues of Ras that are sufficient forbinding guanine nucleotides and hydrolysis of GTP, but lacks the C-terminalCaaX motif necessary for membrane localization of Ras. Protein preparation is100% GDP-loaded, measured by HPLC. |
