Cat. No. : EFNB2-5264H
Description : EFNB2 is a type Itransmembrane protein and member of the ephrin family, which acts as a ligandfor the receptor tyrosine kinases EPHB4 and EPHB3, and has been linked with arange of physiological systems including neurotransmission, synapticplasticity, lymphatic and renal development, tumour metastasis and boneremodelling. Ligation of EFNB2 with complementary EphB receptors on adjacentcells results in a combination of forward (EphB receptors) and reverse(ephrin B2) signalling, which is central to tissue development andremodelling functions.
Form : Purified recombinantprotein-lyophilised.
Application : ELISA; West Blotting
Preparation : Purified recombinant6xHis-tagged EFNB2-Fc expressed in HEK293E cells.
Buffer Solution : Phosphate bufferedsaline
Reconstitution : Reconstitute with250ul distilled water. Care should be taken during reconstitution as theprotein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. AbD Serotec recommendthat the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution.
Molecular Weight : 52.8 kD (472 aminoacid residues with tag).
Concentration : 0.1mg/ml afterreconstitution.
Storage : Prior toreconstitution store at +4oC. After reconstitution store at -70oC.Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should bestored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denaturethe protein. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommendmicrocentrifugation before use.
