Cat. No. : CSF1-1875H
Description : Macrophagecolony-stimulating factor, or CSF1, is a secreted cytokine which influenceshematopoietic stem cells to differentiate into macrophages or other relatedcell types. Eukaryotic cells also produce CSF1 in order to combatintercellular viral infection. (See colony-stimulating factor.) CSF1 binds tothe Colony stimulating factor 1 receptor. It may also be involved indevelopment of the placenta.
Expression : Human Cell Expressed
Source : HEK 293 cells
Species : Human
Form : Lyophilized from a0.2 µm sterile filtered solution in 5 mM Tris-HCl + 80 mM Arginine, pH8.0.
Molecular Weight : 35 and 40 kDa,homodimer, glycosylated
Purity : > 95% The proteinwas resolved by SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and the gel wasstained with Coomassie blue.
Biological Activity : 0.5 to 4 ng/mL ED50
Endotoxin Level : Endotoxin Free <1EU/µg
Specific Activity : The specificactivity was determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of theproliferation of mouse M-NFS-60 cells (Mouse Myeloid Leukemia indicator cellline).
