Cat. No.: |
CSF2-383H |
Product Overview: |
Recombinant humanCSF2 is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 127 amino acidsand fused to a C-terminal His tag. |
Description: |
Granulocyte-macrophagecolony-stimulating factor, often abbreviated to CSF2, is a protein secretedby macrophages, T cells, mast cells, endothelial cells, and fibroblasts. CSF2is a cytokine that functions as a white blood cell growth factor. CSF2stimulates stem cells to produce granulocytes (neutrophils, eosinophils, andbasophils) and monocytes. Monocytes exit the circulation and migrate intotissue, whereupon they mature into macrophages and dendritic cells. |

Reconstitution: |
Centrifuge vialprior to opening. First add sterile distilled water to the vial to fullysolubilize the protein to a concentration not less than 100 µg/ml. Aftercomplete solubilization of the protein, it can be further diluted to otheraqueous solutions. |
Storage: |
Store lyophilizedprotein at -20°C to -80°C. Reconstituted protein is stable for 1 week at 2-4°C.For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C to -80°C with a carrierprotein (0.1% HSA or BSA) as a stabilizer. Please note that the addition ofany carrier protein into this product may produce unwanted endotoxin. Thisdepends upon the particular application employed. Avoid repeated freeze-thawcycles. |
