Product Overview: Recombinant Human Type I interferons (IFN alpha, beta, omega, tau, kappa and zeta) mediate antiviral, antitumor and immunomodulatory functions and these effects are exerted through binding to the type I interferon receptor (IFNR). This receptor is composed of 2 chains, IFNAR1 and IFNAR2. IFNAR2 is a type I membrane protein tyrosine kinase that is widely expressed in different tissues and is a member of the type II cytokine receptor family. It is expressed inHuman 293 cells.
Description: The DJ-1 is a ubiquitously expressed protein involved in various cellular processes including spermatogenesis and fertilization, cancer, RNA-binding, androgen- receptor signaling and oxidative stress.

Molecular Mass: Under reducing conditions Symansis IFNAR2 – FcB Chimera migrates as a broad band between 60 and 85 kDa in SDS-PAGE due to post-translational modifications, in particular glycosylation. This compares with unmodified IFNAR2 - Fc Chimera that has a predicted monomeric molecular mass of 52 kDa.
pI: IFNAR2 – Fc Chimera separates into a number of isoforms with a pI between 5.0 and 6.0 in 2D PAGE due to post-translational modifications, in particular glycosylation.
%Carbohydrate: Purified IFNAR2 - Fc Chimera consists of 15-40% carbohydrate by weight.
Glycosylation: IFNAR2 - Fc Chimera contains N- and O-linked oligosaccharides.
Purity: >95%, as determined by SDS-PAGE and visualized by silver stain.
Formulation: When reconstituted in 0.5 ml sterile phosphate-buffered saline, the solution will contain 1% human serum albumin (HSA) and 10% trehalose.
Reconstitution: It is recommended that 0.5 ml of sterile phosphate-buffered saline be added to the vial.
Storage: Lyophilized products should be stored at 2 to 8°C. Following reconstitution short-term storage at 4°C is recommended, and longer-term storage of aliquots at -18 to -20°C. Repeated freeze thawing is not recommended.
Activity: IFNAR2 - FcB Chimera bound to protein A sepharose beads was able to pull down its ligand, IFNa2b.
