Description: Interleukin 2 receptor beta, also known as IL2RB, is a novel glycoprotein that has the ability to bind IL-2 alone and to associate with Tac antigen (IL-2R alpha) to form high-affinity IL-2 receptors. IL-2R beta is expressed on both circulating T lymphocytes and large granular lymphocytes. IL-2R beta mediates the initial phase of induction of lymphokine activated killer (LAK), natural killer (NK), and proliferative activities.

Purity: >97% by SDS Page and analyzed by silver stain.
Endotoxin: <1.0 EU/µg as determined by the LAL method.
Molecular Weight: The predicted molecular weight of Recombinant Human IL-2 sRβ is Mr 25 kDa. However, the actual molecular weight as observed by migration on SDS Page is Mr 29-31 kDa.
Storage And Stability: This lyophilized protein is stable for six to twelve months when stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C. After aseptic reconstitution, this protein may be stored at 2°C to 8°C for one month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
