Species : Human
Enzyme Unit : The assigned potency of the preparation is 5,000 units of biological activity per ampoule.
Usage : No attempt should be made to weigh out any portion of the freeze-dried material prior to reconstitution. Dissolve the total contents of the ampoule with 0.5 ml of sterile distilled water. Rinse the ampoule with 0.4 ml of sterile distilled water and make up the total volume to 1ml with sterile distilled water. This solution should now contain IL-29 at a concentration of 5,000 U/ml. Use carrier protein where extensive dilution is required. It is recommended that the IL-29 solution be used immediately or stored as indicated in section5.
Notes : This preparation is not for administration to humans. The preparation contains human and bovine source material. The preparation contains an excipient of human origin which has been tested and found negative for HBsAg and HIV antibody. The preparation has subsequently been tested and found negative for anti- HCV and HCV RNA by PCR. The bovine casein used as an excipient was sourced from a country where bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) has not been found. As with all materials of biological origin, this preparation should be regarded as potentially hazardous to health. It should be used and discarded according to your own laboratorys safety procedures. Such safety procedures should include the wearing of protective gloves and avoiding the generation of aerosols. Care should be exercised in opening ampoules or vials, to avoid cuts.
Stability : Reference materials are held at Creative Biomart within assured, temperature- controlled storage facilities and they should be stored on receipt as indicated on the label. Accelerated degradation studies have indicated that this material is suitably stable, when stored at -20°C or below, for the assigned values to remain valid until the material is withdrawn or replaced. These studies have also shown that the material is suitably stable for shipment at ambient temperature without any effect on the assigned values. Users who have data supporting any deterioration in the characteristics of any reference preparation are encouraged to contact Creative Biomart.
Storage : For economy of use, it is recommended that the solution be sub-divided into several small aliquots and stored at -40 °C or below. Avoid repeated thawing/freezing. Unopened ampoules should be stored at -20 °C . Please note: because of the inherent stability of lyophilized material, Creative Biomart may ship these materials at ambient temperature.

        Q&As (6)

        Ask a question
How should the dose of IL29 be determined? 08/01/2022

The dose of IL29 should be determined according to the specific disease and patient situation, and the most appropriate dose usually needs to be determined through clinical trials and individualized treatment.

What is the difference between IL29 and IL28? 06/02/2021

IL29 and IL28 are two similar interferons that are similar in structure and function, but with some minor differences such as receptor affinity and signaling pathways.

What are the advantages of IL29 compared with traditional drugs? 03/22/2021

IL29 is highly targeted and safe, and can stimulate the response of the own immune system, which has better therapeutic effect and fewer side effects than traditional drugs.

Does IL29 have antioxidant effects? 01/11/2021

At present, there are no clear studies to prove that IL29 has a direct antioxidant effect, but it may indirectly affect oxidative stress response by regulating immune system function.

Recombinant IL29 has potential in the treatment of which autoimmune diseases? 07/06/2020

IL29 has potential in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, hepatitis B, psoriasis and other autoimmune diseases.

Are there side effects of IL29? 04/18/2020

It may cause some mild side effects, such as fever, fatigue, headache, etc., but it is generally reversible, and serious side effects are rare.
