Description : |
Cxcl3 is also known as MIP2β (macrophage inflammatoryprotein 2 beta), or DCIP1 (dendritic cell inflammatory protein1) in mouse,CINC2 (cytokineinduced neutrophil attractant 2) in rat, and GROγ (growthregulated oncogene gamma) in humans. It is an 8 kDa proinflammatory member ofthe CXC subfamily of heparinbinding chemokines, also called alpha chemokines.Mature mouse Cxcl3 shares 88% and 57% amino acid (aa)sequence identity with rat and human Cxcl3respectively. |
Form : |
Lyophilized from a0.2µm filtered concentrated solution in 1×PBS, pH 7.4. |
Molecular Weight : |
7.7 kDa, a single,non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 69 amino acids. |
Purity : |
>97% by SDS-PAGEand HPLC analyses. |
Endotoxin Level : |
Less than 1EU/µg ofrMuDCIP-1/CXCL3 as determined by LAL method. |

Reconstitution : |
We recommend thatthis vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents tothe bottom. Reconstitute in sterile distilled water or aqueous buffercontaining 0.1% BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Stock solutionsshould be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ≤-20°C. Furtherdilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions. |
Storage : |
This lyophilizedpreparation is stable for several weeks at 2-8°C, but should be kept at -20°Cfor long term storage, preferably desiccated. Upon reconstitution, thepreparation is stable for up to one week at 2-8°C. For maximal stability, apportion the reconstituted preparation into working aliquots and store at-20°C to -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. |
