Recombinant Rat GHR Protein, His-tagged

Cat.No.: Ghr-41R
Product Overview: Recombinant rat GHR, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
Description: GHR, also known as growth hormone receptor, is a member of the cytokine receptor superfamily. GHR forms a complex with a tyrosine kinase, suggesting involvement of a ligand-activated tyrosine kinase in intracellular signaling by growth hormone (GH). Binding of GH to its receptor results in dimerization of the receptor, phosphorylation of the tyrosine kinase JAK2 and of the receptor, followed by a cascade of protein phosphorylations.
