|Official Full Name||chemokine (C-C motif) receptor 7|
|Background||The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family. This receptor was identified as a gene induced by the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), and is thought to be a mediator of EBV effects on B lymphocytes. This receptor is expressed in various lymphoid tissues and activates B and T lymphocytes. It has been shown to control the migration of memory T cells to inflamed tissues, as well as stimulate dendritic cell maturation. The chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 19 (CCL19/ECL) has been reported to be a specific ligand of this receptor.|

CCR7 has several biochemical functions, for example, C-C chemokine receptor activity, C-C motif chemokine 19 receptor activity, C-C motif chemokine 21 receptor activity. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by CCR7 itself. We selected most functions CCR7 had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with CCR7. You can find most of the proteins on our site.

CCR7 has direct interactions with proteins and molecules. Those interactions were detected by several methods such as yeast two hybrid, co-IP, pull-down and so on. We selected proteins and molecules interacted with CCR7 here. Most of them are supplied by our site. Hope this information will be useful for your research of CCR7.
