Overview
CD127 is a 60-90 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein, also known as IL-7 receptor alpha chain or IL-7Ralpha. It forms heterodimer with the common gamma chain (gammac or CD132) which is shared with the receptors for IL-2, IL-4, IL-9, IL-13, IL-15, and IL-21. CD127 is expressed on immature B cells through early pre-B stage, thymocytes (except CD4/CD8 double positive thymocytes), peripheral T cells, and bone marrow stromal cells. CD127 has been reported to be an useful marker for identifying memory and effector T cells. The ligation of IL-7 with its receptor is important for stimulation of mature and immature T cells as well as immature B cells proliferation and development. -

Q&As (6)
Ask a questionIL7R is a potential drug for tumor immunotherapy, which is expected to enhance anti-tumor immune response, but further research and clinical demonstration are still needed.
Recombinant IL7R can enhance the body's immune response, but there is not enough evidence to show that it can be used to treat immune system failure.
It can enhance the immune response ability of T cells and improve the immune response of the body, so as to have a therapeutic effect on immune-related diseases.
There is no clear evidence that IL7R has a synergistic effect with immune checkpoint inhibitors, but this research direction deserves further exploration.
IL7R has been associated with immune-related diseases such as cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and rheumatoid arthritis.
The use of IL7R is patient specific and may be subject to some limitations, such as pregnant and lactating women and patients with certain immune-related diseases.
