Description : |
IL-7 receptor alpha (IL-7Ra), also known as CD127, is expressed on bone marrow lymphoid precursors, pro-B cells, monocytes/macrophages, natural killer (NK) cells, naïve T cells and memory CD4+ and CD8+ T cells. IL-7Ra is also expressed on non-immune somatic cells such as intestinal colorectal and renal carcinoma cell lines and keratinocytes. IL-7Ralpha displays a synergistic decrease in the number of T-cell, NK-cell and multipotent progenitors in the thymus, indicating that these distinct survival pathways converge to promote the development of multipotent lymphoid progenitors. |
Molecular Weight : |
The predicted molecular weight of Recombinant Mouse IL-7 Rα is Mr 51.6 kDa. However, the actual molecular weight as observed by migration on SDS Page is Mr 55-60 kDa. |
