Cat. No. : | Cxcl1-1877R |
Description : | Chemokine (C-X-Cmotif) ligand 1 (Cxcl1) is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokinefamily that was previously called GRO1 oncogene, GROα, KC,Neutrophil-activating protein 3 (NAP-3) and melanoma growth stimulatingactivity, alpha (MSGA-α). In humans, this protein is encoded by the Cxcl1gene. |
Source : | E. coli |
Species : | Rattus |
Form : | Lyophilized from a0.2 µm sterile filtered solution, carrier free. |
Molecular Weight : | 7.6kDa |
Purity : | > 95% asdetermined by SDS-PAGE analysis. |
Endotoxin Level : | < 0.1 ng/µg ofCXCL1 |
Biological Activity : | Determined by thedose dependent calcium flux in rat neutrophils. The ED50 range is 0.5-2µg/ml. |
Reconstitution : | Centrifuge vialprior to opening. First add sterile distilled water to the vial to fullysolubilize the protein to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Further dilutionsshould be made in low endotoxin medium or buffered solution with heatinactivated FCS or tissue culture grade BSA. Please note that the addition ofany carrier protein into this product may produce unwanted endotoxin. Thisdepends upon the particular application employed. |
Storage : | Store lyophilizedprotein at 2-4°C and reconstituted protein in working aliquots at -20°C to-80°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
