PDGFRA
-
Official Full Name
platelet-derived growth factor receptor, alpha polypeptide
-
Overview
This gene encodes a member of a subfamily of non-clustered, diverged, antennapedia-like homeobox-containing genes. The encoded protein may play a role in the molecular signaling network regulating somite development. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described. -

PDGFRA has several biochemical functions, for example, ATP binding, platelet-derived growth factor alpha-receptor activity, platelet-derived growth factor binding. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by PDGFRA itself. We selected most functions PDGFRA had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with PDGFRA. You can find most of the proteins on our site.
