Species : Human
Source : Mouse myeloma cell line
Tag : Non
Protein Length : 19-711 aa
Description : The protein encoded by this gene contains four kringle domains and a serine protease domain, similar to that found in hepatic growth factor. Despite the presence of the serine protease domain, the encoded protein may not have any proteolytic activity. The receptor for this protein is RON tyrosine kinase, which upon activation stimulates ciliary motility of ciliated epithelial lung cells. This protein is secreted and cleaved to form an alpha chain and a beta chain bridged by disulfide bonds.
Form : Disulfide-linked heterodimer
Bio-activity : Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Recombinant Human MSP/MST1 binds to Recombinant Human MSPR/Ron Protein with an ED50 of 8.00-40.0 ng/mL.
N-terminal Sequence Analysis : No results obtained, Gln19 predicted & Val484
Molecular Mass : 78.5 kDa (MSP alpha / beta ); 53.3 kDa ( alpha chain), 25.2 kDa ( beta chain)
Biotin binding Site : 0
Endotoxin : <1.0 EU/μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Purity : > 97%, by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Storage : Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70 centigrade as supplied. 1 month, 2 to 8 centigrade under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3 months, -20 to -70 centigrade under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Storage Buffer : Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS with BSA as a carrier protein.
Shipping : The product is shipped at ambient temperature.
Reconstitution : Reconstitute at 100 μg/mL in sterile PBS containing at least 0.1% human or bovine serum albumin.
