• Description: Nectin-4, also known as PVRL-4, is a type 1 integral membrane glycoprotein that can form a homo-cis dimer on the cell membrane. It consists of an extracellular region with three immunoglobulin-like (Ig-like) domains, organized as a variable-like (Ig-V) domain followed by two constant-like (Ig-C) domains (V-C-C), one transmembrane region, and a cytoplasmic domain. Nectin-4 promotes tumor growth and is overexpressed in numerous tumor types such as breast, lung, ovarian, urothelial, colorectal, and pancreatic cancer. Nectin-4 is a ligand of TIGIT (T-cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains). Nectin-4 is an emerging target of cancer therapeutics.
