Recombinant Human Akt3, GST-tagged

Cat. No.: Akt3-162H
Product Overview: Recombinant HumanAkt3 fused with a GST tag was produced in E.coli and purified byGSH-sepharose.
Description: The protein encoded by this gene is a member of theAKT, also called PKB, serine/threonine protein kinase family. AKT kinases areknown to be regulators of cell signaling in response to insulin and growthfactors. They are involved in a wide variety of biological processesincluding cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, tumorigenesis, aswell as glycogen synthesis and glucose uptake. This kinase has been shown tobe stimulated by platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), insulin, andinsulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF1). Alternatively splice transcript variantsencoding distinct isoforms have been described.
Source: E. coli.
Species: Human
Antigenpeptide region: 95-155aa
StorageBuffer: 1MPBS (58mM Na2HPO4,17mM NaH2PO4, 68mM NaCl, pH8. ) added with 100mM GSH and 1%Triton X-100,15%glycerol.
Storage: Theprotein is stored in PBSbuffer at -20 °C.Repeated freezethaw cycles should be avoided.
