Recombinant Human DIM1 Dimethyladenosine Transferase 1 Homolog (S. cerevisiae), His-tagged

Cat.No.: DIMT1-2513H
Product Overview: Recombinant human DIMT1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
Description: DIMT1 belongs to the methyltransferase superfamily. This enzyme is specifically dimethylates two adjacent adenosines in the loop of a conserved hairpin near the 3"-end of 18S rRNA in the 40S particle. It functions to dimethylate adjacent adenosines on the conserved hairpin loop of 18S rRNA in the 40S particle. DIMT1L is localized to the nucleolus.
