Src Kinase-Associated Phosphoprotein 2 (SKAP2) is a member of the SKAP family. SKAP2 is a cytoplasmic protein and contains one PH domain and one SH3 domain. SKAP2 acts as an adaptor that is thought to play an improtant role in the Src signaling pathway in various cells. SKAP2 may be involved in B-cell and macrophage adhesion processes. In B-cells, it may function by coupling B-cell receptor to activate integrin. |
