||Recombinant Human Bcl2 antagonist of cell death (BAD) full length protein expressed inE.coli.
||The Bcl-2 family of protein is characterized by its ability to modulate cell death under a broad range of physiologic conditions. Bcl-2 and several related proteins function to inhibit apoptosis while other members of the Bcl-2 family, such as Bax and Bak, enhance cell death under various conditions. Bad exhibits homology to Bcl-2 limited to the BH1, but not with Bax, Bcl-xS, Mcl-1, A1 or itself. In mammalian cells, Bad binds with greater affinity to Bcl-xL than to Bcl-2 and reverses the death repressor activity of Bcl-xL but not Bcl-2.
||Sterile Filtered clear solution.
||BAD protein at 100μg/ml in 50mM Tris-Acetate, pH7.5, 1mM EDTA, 20% Glycerol.
||• ELISA • Inhibition Assays • Western Blotting.
||On SDS-PAGE commassie blue stained gel, the purified recombinant protein shows a band at 51kDa.
||Store vial at -20°Cto -80°C. When stored at the recommended temperature, this protein is stable for 12 months. Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
