||Recombinant Human SUV420H1, amino acids 2-387 with N-terminal GST tag expressed inE.Coliexpression system. MW = 70kDa.
||Histone-lysine N-methyltransferase SUV420H1 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the SUV420H1 gene.This gene encodes a protein that contains a SET domain. SET domains appear to be protein-protein interaction domains that mediate interactions with a family of proteins that display similarity with dual-specificity phosphatases (dsPTPases). The function of this gene has not been determined. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.
||Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
